EVDEP012 – Self Evident – Platinum EP

EVDEP012

Original artwork by Phresha.

East Van Digital presents the twelfth release in our series of artist EPs, Self Evident “Platinum EP”.

Kicking things off with proper fanfare is “Shake It”, one of the funkier tunes in the Self Evident canon, followed by “Platinum”, a bass heavy jam with tasteful female vocal chops. Things go deep and lush with the atmospherics of “Complex Emotions”, while Self Evident takes himself to task, dropping and chopping his own hit “Set My Soul On Fire”, from the EP of the same name.

Also included here are 2 exclusive remixes of his collab with HxdB, “Hot Mustard”, re-imagined by bass music alumni Blind Prophet (South Fork Sound) with an upbeat garage flavoured remix, and Dan Solo (Piranha Piranha, Modern Math), who drops a smooth and gorgeous version of his own.
